Excellent, Aurora! Okay, you're now knighted the official Absinthe afficianado !
And FYI for all you TPunkers, there is a page on this site that has a little bit of info on Absinthe

Wow . . . I have an official title . . . NEAT! . . . I'll spare you all the acceptance speach.

Nice site you have up there! Good info and history. It's like Absinthe in a nutshell! I love it!

Ohhhhh Absinthe...that is some crazy shit!

Me and my buddy bought a bottle in Rome, and cracked it open when we got to Venice.

At the within an hour I had done the following: ended up in a Toga, run naked across the hostel grounds, skinnydipped in a pool with some girl from Utah.

It's some crazy shit.

Fuck Absinthe. Too expensive, says I.

I have found a cheaper version that does exactly what the green garbage fairy does and then some:

Costa Rican Guaro. I think I put back about 3 liters of the stuff in so many days there. Trust me, makes absinthe look like child's play. As someone said, its "Costa Rica's official drink and official insecticide."

Or rocket fuel. Take your pick!

Guaro & Fresca... quite the combo. You don't taste any booze at all, yet you wind up sky high and doing crazy crap you wouldn't even admit to in the confessional.

Funny, because when I was first introduced, I swore thats what the stuff was called. The taste of it only reaffirmed that it could possibly be Guano! :D

And one thing is for sure: If Costa Rica ever should attempt to have a successful space program, there will be no shortage of fuel.

You have been warned. And for $8.00 a bottle... slightly more than what we paid on average (half that there)
