welcome to the boards....
ok can you be a bit more specific with your questions. How ong are you planning on staying in the UK for? Are you wanting to travel around the UK. Car hire can be pretty expensive here in the UK by the time you add on all the extras etc...let me know more of the specifics and i might be able to help you out

Hi there, welcome!
Unfortunately, very little is cheap in the UK... especially car hire. Try to avoid that and stick with public transportation, whether train or coach. You'll be much happier! Besides that, navigating the spiderweb / spaghetti pile of roadways in the UK can be... interesting at best, rip-your-hair-out-and-cry at worst.
We can help a bit more with ideas of "cheap" places to stay if you let us know what places you're planning to hit up.

Maggots can be found in rotting things such as logs or dead animals and are nearly always free

maggots also come from flies.... however a White maggot is an Australian derogatory term for a field umpire in australian rules football. The term comes from the uniform of white shirt and shorts worn by the umpires however in the last couple of years a new range of coloured uniforms have been introduced ,..... maggoted is a slang term for drunkenness....., The Apple maggot Rhagoletis pomonella, also known as railroad worm, is a pest of several fruits, mainly apples......A Slipknot fan is commonly called a "Maggot"

Crap, and all this time I've been calling them Soap Dodgers. Actually, I'll admit I liked Slipknott, but they lost all credibility with me when the lead signer did that ballad-y song for Spider-Man. Ugh.
