Hey peeps,
Just sitting here chilling before heading out to meet up with friends later in the night. Got to thinking, what does everyone drink when they go out for a good time? Do you drink at all?
I'm a beer man for the most part then switch to vodka once i get that bloated feeling that comes with drinking too much beer. One of the beer companies here released my ideal drink a while ago called a coldshot. Its a bottle of beer (Carlton Cold) with a shot of vodka in it. How mad is that - nothing like combining ones favourites together to form the ultimate drink...hehe...
I tell ya...these things hit you like nothing else...oh what a feeling

I am a Corona man normally, nice light beer, doesn't really give you that " i am full" feeling. I also like Jameson Irish Whisky. Have been drinking that since about grade 10 or so.
But if I am looking to get trashed and party really hard, then I will settle for a Dr.Pepper...one 1/2 pint light beer, one shot Ammereto, drop shot in glass and slug it back. goes down pretty smooth, and tastes like Dr.Pepper. I can go through many of those in night....I think it might go by a few different names.

Good stuff that Dr Pepper :P
In the Northwest, I take advantage of the Microbrews they churn out there. Tons of them and most of them are good.
Corona is always the one that I order at bars the most(something about the lime that comes with it ). Lately, I even pour a dash of salt down the bottle before each swig. That's how the Mehicans do it.
At night clubs it'll be vodka and cran, rum and coke, white russian, long island, whatever will get me buzz'n the fastest I love the Japanese beers with Sushi :P
But what I go out of my way to buy the most is, red red wine Australia puts out some really good red wines, as does Cali.
Truthfully, I drink just about anything. What a lush I am, man . oh, except white wine. Can't have too much of that. Just doesn't do it for me.

I too am also a Corona fan, as CD said its nice and light. I hate feeling bloted after 1 beer. But my real soft spot lies in a glass a Jack and Coke. Hmmmmmmmm nothing better to wind down with.

Um, Vodka. Vodka with just about anything added (such a versitile alcohol). No beer. No wine. Anything that goes in a shot glass that I can drink quickly and not taste.
Honestly, what I usually do when I go to a bar is walk up and say "surprise me with something other than beer" It makes for an interesting experience and you don't have to think about what you want.

I'm pretty fond of good red wines and cranberry/vodka, not much else. Never saw the appeal of beer, really.
When I check out Spain, my friends and I are gonna find a nice absinthe bar somewhere and check that stuff out.

Yeah, tequila doesn't hit ya right away, so it's easy to pop a few shots back to back. Then, BAMM! 20 minutes later and you are flying! My experience anyway.
Slippery nipples Catchy name B) what's in that thing anyways?

Slippery Nipple - Bailey's + Sambuca
Anyone tried a Flaming Lamborghini?? That stuff is wicked, Kalua, Sambuca, Blue Curacao and Bailey's - it takes a while to hit you but it goes straight to your legs. You drink it all at once and then when you stand up and your legs have gone to jelly...funny stuff

I am a beer man, also. My way of telling I'm in a cheesy bar is when you ask if they have any importeds or microbrews, they answer: "We have Heinekin and Amstel Light." Yeesh, the world's two most overrated beers!
The best beer of all time is Samuel Smith's Nut Brown Ale. My second favorite (and slight more available in the U.S.) is Newcastle Brown Ale. For all you who like Coronna, try a Red Stripe from Jamaica. It is my favorite "Lager." I think you'll enjoy it more than Coronna.
As for tequilla, well, I've found that once a person has a really bad tequilla experience, just the smell alone can get them sick. It takes a year or two for the body to forget and until you're able to drink it again. Or at least that's been my experience...

Whatever is in front of me at the time.
Currently that would be Glenfiddich Special Reverse and Ouzo. Although both of them are almost full and are feeling rather lonely. I am on a rather strict weightlifting routine and can't be putting too much shit in my system. Although, I suppose I will need to be celebrating my progress every so often.
I am sure there will be a drunk post in the near future for your enjoyment/entertainment/befuddlement.

My favorite liquor is Jeigermeister (sp?)...it tastes like cough syrup, but a shot or two of that stuff gets the night started properly.
My favorite beers are Guinness, Red Stripe, and Heineken. I'll pretty much drink anything though...
