I drank a bunch of it in Czech Republic. Most of the stuff they sold in bars were Hill's brand which has a high proof but low thujone level. We just got really drunk off it. There are supposed to be other types that have 20x the thujone content. the Hills brand tastes like mouthwash but its fun to dip a spoon of sugar in it and light it on fire. Feels like you're cooking a shot of heroin.

I have no problem with a clock being off. When you live in the states you are constantly having to deal with changing time zones when it comes to TV shows. Is this show on at 3pm my time or 6pm my time??? For those of you that don't know, our time zones from Hawaii to New York are separated by 6 hours. Unfortunately a show will advertise that it's on at 6pm eastern and then be on at 6pm on the west coast too.

So anyways, like I was saying, I have no problem with the clock being off, I just want to know which time zone it's set to

Interestingly enough:

BERN, Switzerland -
Drinkers in the original home of absinthe will again be able to consume the herbal liqueur legally, after the government Wednesday overturned a 1908 law banning the drink because of its hallucinogenic properties.

I find that absinth has very little effect on men drunkeness wise, while other people get blown away by it. I can take two or three glasses and its only like Ive had a couple of beers. Ive still never tried the real stuff with the mind altering properties, which is one thing on my to do list. But I like the taste, especially when mixed with melted sugar and some water.

Where will I get the best Absinthe? Paris or Amsterdam?

I want the real good stuff. I have to wait until the end of my trip and those are the 2 choices. Which ever city you tell, please tell me a good place to actually buy it if you know of any. Thanks!

Go to Wenceslas Square in Prague. it is cheap (about $5 canadian for a 26oz.) and it is potent, I'm saying this from experience. It is well worth it. Give'r.

Spartan: If I was going to Prague that would be awesome! Paris and Amsterdam are my 2 choices.

Im underage in the US but of age in Europe and i want to bring back some absinthe. Ive checked about sending it through Fedex and UPS, but no luck. Its too expensive. What are the chances and the consequences of getting caught with it in the airport or at customs or getting caught sending it through the mail. (Some one on a different post said it was illegal to mail alcohol)
