well, it looks like my travel plans have changed. while i will still be going to adam this january, i don't think i'll be able to do new years eve there
however, i was checking out the hogmanay celebrations in edinburgh and though it might be worth checking out.
my questions are:
-has anyone ever been to this? what to expect?
-what's the best way to get there from london (megabus, train, fly?)
-how expensive a city is edinburgh (food/ drink prices?) and will prices increase for the celebration (most likely)
any and all information will be greatly appreciated. also, if anyone has any cheap, wild and/or unexpected new year's eve suggestions anywhere in the uk or roi, please, let me know.
thanks!
-jeff
