JAMES DEAN FEST
This year will mark the 50th anniversary of the untimely death of the incomparable James Dean. A yearlong tribute began on what would have been James Dean’s 74th birthday, February 8th, with a global press event in Los Angeles, California. Programs and events surrounding the 50th anniversary tribute were unveiled at this time.
Among the various festivities planned is the James Dean Fest in Marion, Indiana. This event will have plenty of activities to pay respect to the legendary actor. The 2005 James Dean Fest will be held June 3-5 on the grounds of the Marion Municipal Airport in Marion, Indiana. Included at the three-day celebration will be classic rock concerts, car shows and auctions, celebrity appearances, guided tours of the James Dean heritage, the biggest outdoor screening of Dean’s three movies plus a showing of the all new documentary “James Dean: Forever Young” and much, much more. The event is expected draw over 150,000 attendees to the modest Midwest town.
Stay tuned to James Dean’s official Web site for any breaking information about James Dean Fest 2005.

Anyhow, I think I'll roll up in my '55 Spyder after cruising CA Highway 46 for old times' sake... Maybe after a drink or three.
