Hey folks just thought id let you know bout couple of music festivals on up here which are GREAT, and since i'll miss them this year maybe put some of you to them instead!

The first in on weekend of July 18th, The Isle of Skye Music Festival, started again last year after a break of ten years and it was great! Bigger this year with acts from all over including Mylo and Idlewild. Camping, hostles, b an b's etc. There is a website but canny mind it.

The one Im gutted bout missing is Drams in the Field in Glenelg, just over the hill from me. Started few years back to, marque in a field, bar and portaloo's = great craic, music and lots of booze! Music is mix of Scottish traditional, new style, dance an even some Cajun! Its all local organised but folk come from all over for it and its really an ace time. You can camp on the beach, in the field or local accomadation to.

Go meet some teuchters and have a blast! Website is www.dramsinthefield.com

Plus you can buy great t shirts featuring a sheep, guiter and joint, what more do you want!
