First of all I would like to give a shout out to who ever made this site I think it is awsome. I am currently planning a backpacking trip to the UK and this will be my first time. I will be leaving in september of next year and am planning to start my trip in London and then head up through Scotland and back down through Ireland. From there I am thinking of either jumping a jet to France or Belgium and continuing on my travels from there. This will be my first big trip on my own and am looking for some advice on how to start planning it. Also also if anyone has any suggestions on where to stay or hot spot to visit. I will be staying in London for about a month, then will work my way up to Edinburgh stopping at various towns on the way. I have heard of people working at pubs and hostels getting paid under the table as they travel. I am wondering if this is a good way to see the country and to best see the culture. Any way if anyone has some advice for me please feel free to respond any advice is welcome.
