I'm travelling alone in Europe in Dec and Jan. I plan on hitting up the Czech Republic, Austria, Germany, and the Netherlands as well as some other places. I want to party hardcore around New Years- where should I go?

I would think any of the major cities in those countries would be great places to be such as Amsterdam, Berlin and Prague, but I have heard that Amsterdam can get pretty crazy on New Years, but you should book your room now as it fills up very fast.

When I was in Czech I met a few Scandanavians who swore that Prague is the place to be on New Years. You know as they say: "Never doubt a Swede." (who are "they"? They're just "them")

I recon london would be mad, iv'e never been there at new year.
If you want to get in to a big club you may want to buy you tickets now though.
alot of places in england charge a big cover (£25) but you get free drinks.
