hi, all! ;) i'm not finding too much info on great nightclubs in italy. i know rome, florence, & milan have a few, but which ones are the best? when is last call in italy? are most clubs open till 4 am? are the clubs hoppin' on weeknights, or just weekends?
i'd love to hear about anyone's experience(s) & their fave places to party. thanks so much!

My number one fav night club in Milano was called Hollywood (I think) its a 20 euro cover charge but you can usually get in free if you are a blonde (and italians have a very loose definition of blonde) foreigner....
Anyways, the club itself is nothin much to shout about, buuuuuuut, the bathroom rocks. Before you think I have some wierd kinda fetish, let me tell you what I mean. The 'mirror' in the girls bathroom is really a window to the boys bathroom- so you can see all the guys primping, flexing their muscles, testing out their latest pick up line, whatever, on the other side of the mirror. HOURS OF ENTERTAINMENT. It was also helpful to see who to dance with- hygiene appareantly isnt as widespread as I'd thought.
The dance floor and bar are modest, there are some wierd people dressed as sado masichists dancing on a stage, the music is good, and Italian guys will make you feel good by basically standing in a circle around you waiting to hit on you- If you are like me and prefer to dance alone you must be REALLY firm. They are aggressive. It was a great time!!!! :taz:

Oh and I usually get home after 6 am- clubs stay open LATEor early I guess. and its nice cause italians dont tend to get as sloppy drunk as people do in say scotland or sometimes america

Wow, thank God I always wash my hands and make sure I smell good before I leave the bathroom. Oh my that explains a lot. Jeebus, I hope mirrors like that don't exist in the states lol- I'd really feel sorry for some guys in the bathroom than.

voyd, haha - yeah... i'd say the chances of seeing that at a hip hop club are slim to none! that's fucking sick though. haha, but funny as hell somehow: "a guy was washing his ass in the sink" haha. i'm so second grade.

I used to club a great deal in NYC, and although i didnt club hard in Italy i found a excellent club. Its called CENTRAL PARK. its in florence. its like 15 minutes from the S.M.N train station in florence. Evreyone around there will tell you its expensive cover was 10 i think and drink are like 8 each. so get tipsy before u go and then once u get there set it off with some Lemoncello. Party HARD your in europe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The best clubbing spot in Italy by far is Rimini, Italy. A lot of clubs on the beach and they party all night long. It is like the Daytona Beach of Italy, and primarily it is used as a European vacation spot.....so guys go at the right time and get a sample shmorgasborg of European women!

side note....the Pink Palace in Corfu, Greece ROCKS....a ferry away from ITALY

Well in Florence I went to a club called Space. They have kareoke down stairs... always fun when your drinking. A guy named Matteo leads that. And upstairs there is a big dance floor with a dj booth overhead. I danced with the dj all night... his name is Alex. Say hi for me!

In Rome I heard that the place to go is 'Art Cafe'. Didnt make it... but supposed to be hot. I did however go to the 'Drunken ship'... great bar... fun barstaff. They're hiring if anyone is interested. I almost stayed because of that. :unsure: Also if you stand with your back facing the door of the drunken ship and walk out to the main street through the piazza. Make a left. And on your right hand side you'll find a little hole in the wall place that has 1euro tequila shots till midnight. Lol

any good bars in venice

FLORENCE-

I went a few places there. I went to that Central Park place...it was quite interesting...it was kinda fun, but there were LOTS of young Italien Teenagers....I am talking 12-16 for most of the night.....and then it was fairly good between like 2:30-4:00........

My favorite bar there is called AMEDEUS....its nice because its almost completely english speaking...oh those 2 Austrian sisters..........WHAT A GREAT MEMORY!!! they were so incredibly hot!!! :thumbup:

Definately go to AMEDEUS....there is no real dress code.....its just a bar....but its the perfect place to start your night and meet a cool crowd of English speaking folks and then head out as a group to whatever club later that night........

STAY AT CAMP AL<BODERO in venice, its outside the main city you take bus 15 from marco polo aroporto to get there its like 10 mins from the airport, it was only 12 euro's a night, and it had a bar,dance club, pool,snack bar and cheap wine. the best place in the world!!! check it out

has anyone been to the goa club in rome? i hear it is awesome but i have no idea. I will be flying to rome, going to florence, sienna, then venice. I plan on hitting one club in each spot. top picks?

The nightlife in italy isn't really what you expect to find when you prepare for a wild party night in the rest of europe!
Clubs are really sectorial and expensive!Italian girls are not as open minded as one might think and foreigners are still a fear expecially in the north..unfortunately the best clubs you can find are in the north!
I can advice you rimini, riccione, bologna milano and also rome and florence (though not in the north) but the prices for these clubs might be aweful!(28/30 € for entry and 10€ for a beer..and be prepared to wear more than regular for trend is not an opinion here!
Eitherway you can go to social centres which organize raves almost every saturady or alternative nights with bands playing live (here the prices might range between 8€ and 15€) but for these you better go to big cities cause there are none in the coast.
middle sized discos are the nastiest I've ever experienced in europe and I am italian so i know what I'm talking about!
For wild nights I suggest Barcelona, Dublin, Prague, Berlin!
