I'm new to Oz but,

East Coast AND West Coast Blues Fest are coming up.
Goulburn (spelling is off sorry) Australian Blues fest is also really soon.

Music festivals are massive in Aus, there's heaps.

I found a guide at http://www.news.com.au/entertainment...013883,00.html

What kind of music are you into? Let me know if you need a rundown on any Australian bands.

carolyn, are you actually going to the goulburn blues festival? cause, I would never discourage anyone from doing anything, but I will just say not to expect much! I lived in goulburn for 6 years. there's not a lot there.

THat's funny my buddy Thady is from Goulburn and he says the exact same thing..

I might just go for the party. but I"m still up in the air... I'm sure if all my mates are going I'll end up there :)

ah, thady went to my school. I think he was in my brother's year. you probably know a few of my friends by now! how weird. I guess you could have fun going out for a night to the workies and dingos, they're ok in moderation. It's just sad when you go there and know everyone and realise they're still going out to the same place every weekend and haven't really changed at all since we all finished school. and now all my friends' little brothers and sisters are starting to turn 18 so seeing them out is weird.
