International Rainbow Gathering
So, I'm not sure how many people on the boards here are familiar with Rainbow Gatherings, but i've heard through the grapevine that there will be an International Gathering in Turkey this year sometime in March.
For those of you who don't know what Rainbow Gatherings are, its basically a huge group of anarchists, vagabonds, hippies, travelers, artists, musicians, and basically everyone that believes in free love and all that happy jazz get together and rally for peace. I think its really awesome that they are going to be having this in Turkey this year. Especially with all of the drama and stress currently happening in the middle east with the war. But yea, pretty much just wanted to announce it and let people know in case you were interested.
It's definitely time for me to start saving. I have yet to get on that side of the world :D

Well, I've heard a lot about Rainbows. Probably won't be in Turkey though at that time.

Hmmmm I've wanted to go for one of these since my crazy Irish hippie friend told me about them when I was in Guatemala, and I have break March 7th-16th.
Turkey is a wee bit further from Italy than I'd like for a week-long trip, though...

I almost went to a gathering in Taos, but was too tired from all the partying. On hindsight I should have gone.
