Default $200 - Where should I go for Thanksgiving?

So I have:

-a 200-dollar voucher to burn on a United flight to somewhere before January.
-about 9 days off for Thanksgiving this November.

Where do I go??? Flying out of somewhere near Portland ME, Boston or NH....to somewhere in the continental US of A.

I'm looking for:

Good company, fun times, a turkey dinner would be nice and a couch to crash on (friends are good, couchsurfing also good). Warm weather (or at least not dank and rainy) might be also be nice but not necessary because I'm thinking pretty damn warm for Christmas. Something chill but still hip and party-able.

Places I'm kinda drawn to include Cali, Colorado, Chicago, Columbus (aight, I'm just listing things with "Cs" at this point), Portland OR, but I kind of also want to get the most out of my flight if possible.

Shoot me your ideas! :D

I will be in Portland for Thanksgiving but am staying at my parents and may be sleeping on their couch - so I couldn't offer a place to crash, but I will be hitting up the town and you would be welcome to join. Portland will probably be cloudy and gray though...

Santa Cruz would be fun, or Austin!

Have you not been to any? That is where I would choose ultimately. Especially if you have a free place to stay.

You and anyone is always welcome here in Muncie, Indiana. But there is nothing to do, and I find myself trying to get out of this city more times than I can afford.

I'll probably head up to the Chi myself where I have a free place to stay in Wrigleyville. And may even have it to myself for my buddies family has many get togethers.

If it were me though, I'd head down south. Get your last taste of warmth before winter approaches.

Yeap, I would ideally be hitting up somewhere that I haven't been to before (On that little list, I have been to Cali but loved it enough to go back, maybe check out some other places there...hey it's a big state! ).

You could go to San Diego and head over the border!

Or Portland would be cool-- obviously I can't offer a couch but schedules permitting we'd like to come down to visit you while you're there.

Jeanie I haven't talked to you in a million years...who is this "we" you speak of?

PS unfortunately I have not really traveled the states therefore I don't have much to actually add to this thread but I'm sure you'll enjoy anywhere you choose!

Can't go wrong with Cali. San Fran is amazing, and its really the only place I've been to that I can remember. I went to Anaheim, Sacremento, and Yosemite. However, that has been 10+ years ago.
