Anyone know about hostels in Caen, France? I've only been able to find one..but it has some wierd tagline....
What about staying in hotels?? how does that work over there??

No idea about hostels, but this is what "Europe by Eurail 2002" says about finding accommodations there:
Take Bus No 17 in the direction of Grace de Dieu. The bus stops in the center of town at Tour Leroy near the tourist office (Office de Tourisme). Walk down boulevard des Allies and proceed one block to where it intersects rue Saint-Jean. The tourist office sign can be seen across the street to the right. The tourist office can advice on accommodations in Caen and the Normandy towns close to the (D-day) beaches.
I'll probably have to shell out the bucks for a hotel room, but it'll only be for one night.
