I just wanted to share a part of Paradise with you! :D

I went to this Youth Hostel, in Plakias, Crete. I had planned to sleep there only for one night, but endend up cancelling all my projects just to stay there!

It's only 7 Euros a night, the manager is really friendly and mellow...No curfews there! Rooms with 6 beds are all in separated buildings, some beds are outside if you feel like taking a nap outside...It's clean and you can get a good breakfast for almost nothing. They also offer cheap beer...It's in a pretty area, Greek nature all around!

It's really like being home, with your family...Musics plays all day, people play guitar outside, sitting on the grass...Once you get there, I bet you will not be able to stay just for a night!

The photos on their site, definitely reinforce your praise for this hostel. I can see how one day at this hostel can easily turn into one week, or even one month

I know how hard it is to share a very special place with the entire world, for fear of turning it into a big busy tourist destination . Hope it still stays cheap and exclusive by the time I ever get to make it out there
