Yea, so ever year Beth's dad rounds up as much of the family as possible, loads 'em up and sets off to a new destination for hiking and camping. This year we have picked
Mt Washington in New Hampshire as our focal point. It is the highest point in NH and has the world's record for the highest windspeed ever recorded on Earth (231 mph).
Anyhow, so far the plan is to leave Chicago and head to Niagara Falls, then through upstate New York into Vermont to Mt. Mansfield (highest point) and then to Mt. Washington. After that we are planning on headind into Maine and possibly going to Arcadia NP and Baxter SP (highest point). After that well the only plan is to head back through New Brunswick, Quebec and Ontario - doing hiking/camping along the way.
