I will be traveling to Atlanta next week on June 15th

If any one knows of good places to visit there, or good places to eat let me know. I Love Bar-b-q ribs, if anyone can suggest a great place that will be great.

hope someone can help.

theres the atlanta underground ( which is mainly a shopping mall ) and up the street is every trendy restaurant you can imagine

atlanta has all night drinking clubs -------you pay like 5 bucks to get in and you can drink and dance all night -----just ask where they are......if you get lucky they used to have free concerts in one of there parks......i was so drunk i could never remember where it was.

Well you can go to the Olympic Park, or possibly take a tour of CNN headquarters. Look up Ted Turner stuff cause he is from there and owns a lot of businesses there. There is a water park (White Water) and an amusement park (Six Flags over Georgia). If your looking for some truly good BBQ you need to come on over to Alabama, Birmingham has some great BBQ such as Dreamland.

hey i have to run...trying to think....the concerts are across the street from each other. one is called on the bricks and the other is....cannot remember. one is in olympic park and the other is essentially across the street from it, both on friday nights. usually decently big names.

coke museum is near the underground, high museum of art if you like art museums is good. buckhead is usually where young professionals go, and tourists always want to go. but midtown has become more of a scene too for bars and restaurants.

if i were home i would say lets meet up but another time perhaps!! have fun

I live in Atlanta and just got back from Europe. There is a lot of good food here and great nightlife if you like expensive clubs. Where are you staying? For good BBQ you need to go to Daddy D'z. Its a tiny place downtown that is kind of out of the way but well worth it. Best I have ever had period. In Midtown there is "Eats" where you can eat for around $5 and is also very good. Let me know what you like and I will see what I can do for you!

Go to The Varsity. Its downtown (over by Georgia Tech) and anyone can tell you how to get there. Its classic soul food.
And yea if you want good Bar-b-que you need to hop on over here to Alabam. We are the only ones that realllly know how to cook it.

That's it! Its some good old soul food and bbq. We should meet up sometime. If you are here for a friday or saturday I can take you to a local bar near my place where I know the bartender and get you the ultimate hook-up! I can drink almost free there now. PM me if you are interested and I can give you my cell number. I have to work monday to friday 8:30-5:30 but I can do stuff on weekends and evenings.

Let me know!
