has anyone been to Salem? I love Arthur Miller's classic "the cruicable" and if its do-able from New York state would really like to go when i come over next year. How easy is it to get to and does anyone have any spooky stories about there?

i actually live like, half an hour away from salem. there's a good pizza place there called engine house pizza, btw. it's probably a few hours from NY, but no, i have no spooky stories. if you go there around halloween though you'll be greeted by tons of people dressed in costumes and MANY haunted houses. i have actually only been to salem once or twice..so i'm not much of an expert.

hey! i also live about half an hour from there!

my math teacher lives there. the only time i've been there is on holloween but there are some cool things there. there's a lot of fortune tellers and then there's this like...wax museum that tells the story of all the witch's and stuff and it's just like, giant wax murals of witch's getting killed....cool stuff though, haha. other then that, i don't really know, i was only there for a day and that was a couple of years ago.

have fun!

steph, where do you live? i live in sudbury, about 25 miles west of boston.

I live in New Jersey (about 10 mins from Manhatten) and it takes 3-4 hours to get to Boston from here. If that helps with anything, good luck!

Been there a few times when I was younger. Its a neat old town with a ton of history. As for haunted stuff, I dunno, but they do have a Bunghole Liquors store there I still laugh about! :D
