I want to see the space needle and pike place, but at night we want to go out soooooooo that's where I need tp's help. I don't know when u moved away from seattle, but do you know any cool clubs/bars that I should check out? puhleez and thank you.

Hey Dio!
It's been a while since I partied in Seattle, but the clubs that were going on, are still there.
Did some checking around for a good list of clubs in Sea-town, and found this one to be rather good-
Seattle night clubs
I always had a great time at the Fenix Underground (co-owned by actor John Corbett), and the Down Under club was good too.
A couple of clubs that weren't on that list, but should be, were- Polly Esthers (kind of a 70's funk theme) close to the Seattle Center, and Paragon in Queen Anne. Both are quite popular.
There are many more clubs, that I've noticed on this list, but haven't had the opportunity to enjoy them yet.
Pioneer Square is famous for having lots of clubs and taverns (some with live bands) like J&M cafe, Color Box, Doc Maynards, The Central, and more... Been to all of those and had good times . You can pay one price, get a stamp on your hand, then enter all of those clubs by showing your stamped hand to the bouncer. Thats the way it was back then, and I'm sure they still offer that.
Now, it will be a week night so it might not be a happening on thursday as it would be on friday.
One thing, I don't know if you would like old Seattle history, but there is an underground tour of Seattles Pioneer Square that takes you under the streets of Seattle. See some pics and read more about that here- Underground tour
Drink coffee? When you go to Pike Place Market, ask someone to point out Starbucks for you. It's right there. You will see the humble beginning of Starbucks first store. Still small and somewhat inconspicuous.
Right under the famous sign Public Market Center (Pike Place Market) is where you'll see the famous fish market where, when someone buys a salmon (or other fish), the guys throws the big fish from a distance, over the counter, and the guy behind the counter catches it with browning wrapping paper. It's a neat lil spectacle to watch during the day .
Not sure if that was any help, but generally speaking, Pioneer Square is a good place to get started (The Fenix Underground is close to there, but ask someone if its still a happening spot). Any local Seattle-ite will be able to point you in the right direction for a Thursday night.
Hope it helps ya babe !

Seeing the date posted, I may be late with this info. But if you're going again & for others reading this, this might be helpful. Seattle's popular clubs are listed in 'The Stranger', the local underground newspaper, & this is on the net. Go to www.thestranger.com & look up events & the club directory. The ones most people talk about are the Crocodile, Fenix Underground, the Last Supper Club, Neighbors (gay), & Doc Maynard's.
Go for it!
