I'm dying to know.....any fellow Dewey Beach goers on the board??
If so...let's hear those Dewey stories!!
I joined a beach house right after my divorce.....best therapy I could've had!
My Dewey Achievments:
Some friends and I took 3rd place in the Pimp n' Ho contest at the Starboard. :D
Never puked (still can't figure out how I pulled that off)
Never had to make the walk of shame. (I always managed to sneak in the beach house without anyone knowing! :D)
Managed to make it through bar golf unharmed, with dignity still intact.
* If you've never been to Dewey Beach, DE. Go, you won't regret it!!

Finally you posted this! Actually I forgot you mentioning it until now!
I've never been to party, since I'm underage and all. But many of my University of Delaware friends head down there bi-weekly to stay at their parents' places. Only late night drives to swim in the ocean and eat at Grottos and Stackers.

A pimp 'n' ho contest?! Is that like where you dress up as pimps and hos (hoes?), yeah?
So fun, pimps and prostitutes theme is a firm favourite at my student union!

I'm not sure I can say what I've done at the Bottle and Cork and the Starboard since the statute of limitations may still be in effect.
But I can say this: Drunk and eating Grotto Pizza KICKS ASS!
(I'll be in OC this weekend, doing the No Shirt, No Shoes, No Problem thing )

Exactly! I wore this pleather mini skirt/halter top thang. It was quite the spectacle, as you can imagine. Haha.
They had a stripper pole for the event and everything....to be honest, I think that's what kept us in the top 3. Who knew dancing on stage with a stripper pole could be that much fun?!?
Amber- Girl...you've gotta hit Dewey. Promise me when you turn 21, you will go to Dewey and have a drink for me at The Rutter. Mmmmm....Stackers.
Steve- There's nothin' like late night eating at Grotto's! I think between grotto's and wings to go...I managed to ward off any hangovers.
When I get back from my trip (better not happen before I get back )...we need to plan a Tpunk meetup in Dewey!!

dewey is always a good time. its a little over hyped since it really only has one good bar, although sometimes one good bar beats 10 so-so bars.
i dont know what it is but grotto pizza always tastes so good to me, and i'm like a little kid when i get it. i'm always excited and i always want to go into the restuarant and play video games.
all in all its a awesome place to be in the summer. tons of students there just to bum around and work just enough to pay the bills and for beer.

Awe, come on.....it's got atleast 3 decent bars, maybe four.
The thing about Dewey...is it really isn't a college beach town...it's more for the 25+ crowd. Which is a nice change...
Although...beware of the cougars.
