If things work out for me, I'll be off in Scotland around mid-July. The thing is, I'll be traveling alone, you see. For the first time, I might add. I'm fifteen years old. I don't know what kind of problems I will or might run into as a 15-year-old traveling alone into a foreign country. I'm not really worried, but I have been warned by friends that something could come up. I wouldn't want to finally arrive and get sent back to the US, you know. Thanks for the help.

Oh, I forgot something. I'll be staying at a B&B (Bed and Breakfast) place. It'll be for two weeks. I don't know if that matters, but I forgot to say that in the first post. Thanks again.

You should be fine but check with the airports that you will be arriving at and departing from, some have a policy that a person younger than a certain age must be met buy an adult on the receiving end. But good luck with your travels, be safe and let us know how it goes.

I live in the US. I know that a parent will be with me when I get to the airport, so that bit sounds okay, right?

Will the parent be their when you arrive in Scotland?
Like I said though you need to check with your particular Airline for I do not have the policies of all airlines memorized. Unfortunately…But wait if I could have a super power like that I wouldn’t want it to be that I know all Airline policies… I'd pick like….know all languages or something cool. Like know all the state capitals…. Wait that idea sucks… but I digress Check with the airline.

No. If they were, it wouldn't exactly be 'Traveling alone,' eh?

Sorry, I thought you meant my parents. The person I'll be meeting up with will be there. Are you saying that maybe the airline needs her parent to be there?
