Vacation with Baby--All By Myself!
Hey all your experienced family travellers out there...I need some advice and tips!
I am taking Izzy (8 months) on her first plane ride and I'm doing it alone. We are going on a mother/daughter holiday to the Dominican Republic to visit my sister and have a couple weeks in the sun.
I have already bought a compact travel stroller and she has four bathing suits. Oh and a passport. Somehow I think I am missing some stuff! Any ideas on how to cope on the plane with her...how about her ears? She is on formula, so I will be bringing a few cans of it and a whole bunch of jars of baby food since I don't want her little tummy to deal with the food down there.
I know there is a ton of stuff I am not thinking about. Has anyone traveled with babies before and can you give me any tips that you learned along the way or wished you had known? OR things you wish you had packed?
