I agree that traveling solo is awesome. I loved that if I wanted to I could spend a whole day at a museum or just sitting around in a park. Plus you don't have to ask anyone else what place they want to go to next. For me the first week though I thought was not very fun, I was quite homesick and nervous to the point that I almost wanted to fly back home. I pushed through though and when I went home two months later it was only because I had $3.20 left in my bank account.
