Finally, to the most important part! AMSTERDAM! Where do all the locals go to get high? What should I expect to spend on bud? hash? shrooms? etc.? Is mescaline a "smart drug"? What's up with all the different smart drugs? I hear some feel like x and other things. Any suggestions on smart drugs? Do the coffee shops really cook with pot? Do you have to say a code-word or something to get a weed milkshake? Is Amsterdam the only place with "coffee shops" or can you find smoke in other countries too? I'd also like to check out the Red Light District. What are the girls like? What should I expect to pay for a good time with a decent looking girl?

Being a female myself, i can't give any advice on the beauties in the windos, but any coffee shop, except the ones right in the red light district are pretty good. i met up with a friend who had been there for a couple days before, and we still just basically went to whatever cofee shop we thought looked intriguing. It's pretty damn cheap for stuff that's buncehs better than the states average stuff. the cafes usually have a menu, some things have marijuana in them and some don't. but it's all there in front of you to order, no secret code or anything.

Also, mushrooms are pretty cheap as well. they sell them fresh there in little containers that look like the ones that hold tofu. 12 euro for one serving of the stuff. and don't eat it in the cafe's, they frown upon it. we just ate ours while walking down the street and when we finished eating them found a nice coffee shop to spend 3 hours in, enjoying the marijuana tea and smoking. it was a really nice time. just don't be obnoxious, some people got asked to leave when i was at a particular shop. oh, and they do ID you at a lot of the places, even if you look older, so have yours with you at all times!

Been to A-dam twice personally.

Most expensive weed I found was 30 euro for 5 grams at the local shops. And it is GOOD stuff too. Red Light Ladies will set you back 60+ euros. And yes there are some HOT ones too. Just be careful of the drug dealers who pretend to have stuff and just rob you...

Space cakes and muffins can be found all over. I also suggest Bob's hostel as its cheap and just as good as Flying Pig.

Theres usually another counter in the coffieshop for buying hash but you'll get the hang of it fairly quickly. They don't have code-words or anything everythings above board so you just ask what they have. Bonbons and cake are most common.

I usualy went for the cheeper weed we only get mixed down hash here so it's not that strong but I was in the buldog coffieshop and saw €50 bag of weed I'm going trying that the next time. The buldog is at the top of the red light.

Chezk and some of the nordic countrys have fairly relzxed laws, Prague is almost a better place to go for smoke because you can smoke it anywhere and everyone seems to smoke (In Amsterdam your only supposed to smoke in the coffieshops I don't think your even allowed to smoke on the street).

Is mescaline a "smart drug"?

I doubt it. The smart shops sell seeds shrooms and and herbal versions of speed and coke, I've never tried them because I heard they where preaty poor.

I'm off to Amsterdam on the 19th of may I can't wait, I don't remember much of the week I spent there the last time and I don't entend on remembering much of the next trip ether.
