So your all traveling alone this summer? Me too. WHat I want to know is what do you really want to do in Europe?

me? Here's my top three in order of importance:

I want to...

1. Sit at a cafe and drink beer/wine while I'm surrounded by people for thousands of miles who don't know my name.

2. Run with the Bulls....again. Undescribable. The whole week is amazing!

3. Meet really cool people from all over the world. A transcendental "What's Up!" to Marcus from Mexico, Yoli from Caracas, Dennis from Cali just name a few.

What are your top three?

I hope everyone has a stellar experience abroad.

p.s. looking for folks to join my Karass at any time during my trip

If you plan on Running With The Bulls you should go to the meet-up there. There will be 17 Tpunks there so far and new people keep signing up. If you are going this summer check it out and sign up so we can count you in!

Among other things here are my top three.

1. Wander around every city that I am in by myself, with absolutely no one to distract me from taking in every detail.

2. See the Eiffel Tower at night.

3. Drink a lot of wine!!!

This is a great thread

Okay so here are my top 3, one might already sound familiar.

1. Drink in a cafe in a city where I don't know 1 city person. Preferably Paris to complete that cliche picture I already have in my head!

2. See scenery I've never seen before. From the highlands to differnet cityscapes. I'm always so moved by how different or how similar places are to my own country.

3. Have experiences that I can't here. Museums, partying in a foreign language, and all those other things that aren't always listed in a guide book.

I forgot one thing that I am so excited to do. My great Grandma was a painter and studied in Paris. I have one of her paintings from that time and I am going to go back to the same place that she did that painting and take a picture of it as it is now. I think it is going to be an amazing tribute to her.

It's hard to choose the best three as such, but here's a few:

Already done:
1. Ran with the Bulls - Pamplona, Spain
2. Partying at Oktoberfest - Munich, Germany
3. The Midnight Sun - Nordkapp, the very top of Norway

What I would love to do:
1. Hike the Cinque Terre trails in Italy
2. Do more hiking in the Swiss and Austrian Alps
3. Visit Edinburgh

I think I would go to South America before going back to Europe so it would be quite a few years away.

It was magical. We had a clear night (much of the time it's cloudy). The coastline up there is quite dramatic and as you drive Northwards the vegetation disappears and deers are roaming around (tundra environment)

1. Go somewhere where nobody knows me, which sounds easy because I'm from a small town in the west of Ireland but you'd be surprised how often I've ran into people that know me while in a different country. I'f like to go a week without meeting any Irish people but that's highly unlikely.

2. Get plastered (absolutely scuttered) in Amsterdam, I'm honestly going to go stupid once I get there.

3. Live like a king in eastern Europe for at least a week.
