great site! i'm traveling solo in europe for 6+ months - this helped my folks feel a bit better and got me even more amped for my trip!

great book for the female traveler, 'a journey of one's own' by thalia zepatos. lots of good tips - including safety tips and ways to avoid getting lonely.
