I'm new to this whole thing, first time going to Europe (first post on travel punk) and I'm headed to London on August 31st and going to be there until September 9th before the rest of my group gets there.... and then we spend like 4 days there as a group.

I was thinking of going on an organized tour with Haggis Backpackers? The tour goes through Bath, Stonehenge, Glastonbury, Newquay, Lands End, Dartmoor.

Anyone have any suggestions, comments, anything? I'm going to be in London for quite a bit of time and didn't really want to just stay there. I would love to get out of London and see more of country but I don't want to spend an arm and a leg doing a bunch of individual day trips.

Check out nationalexpress.com for the 1 quid bus tickets deal (book in advance). They have lots out of london. You do have 9 days so maybe you can spend some of that out of London? Do 5 in London and the rest somewhere else? Say Liverpool? Macnhester? Options are endless...

Ive only heard good thing about Haggis Tours, so I would say go for it. Theyre a good way to see different parts of the country.
