Depends on your interests and budget, but I have to say that I always hear Thailand and India are beautiful and offer lots of culture and adventure on the cheap.

I'm always a huge fan of Central America but cheap destinations are as much about your proximity to them as they are relative to their cost! If it costs too much to get there, it's not cheap.

On a budget probably definitely seems Central America or SE Asia / India.

True, Africa could also be cheap. Definitely have to do some research on certain areas.

Totally want to hit South America, and my ultimate road trip to go to Alaska (it's like a whole different country). South Africa is on my list still too.
So much traveling, so little time and money.

I have been fascinated with the idea of exploring Alaska since....forever. I also went up to Anchorage back in the day to work at a fish cannery with a friend, but my mom talked me out of it.
Definitely still on my bucket list!

Man, that would be killer. For real! I'm thinking of moving back to the US and that could be a serious idea to play around with

You come back to the U.S. and we definitely have to get a meetup together. I'll bring some beer and liquor. (homemade of course)

Would love to explore Asia. Have a few friends that visited Vietnam lately and they've all raved about it. Would love to go there myself and hit all the neighboring countries as well.
