Hey guys, I'm leaving June 15th for my European Journey. I figured it would probably be cheaper to fly in and out of Amsterdam. My itenirary includes Amsterdam, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Czech Rep, and Greece.

I figure we will get around on country to country carriers. I also figure we should just stop in amsterdam at the end of the trip and fly home from there. We are departing from Europe on August 3rd.

So far I did a search on Orbitz and found that the cheapest flight from Orlando(MCO) to Amsterdam is $1,074.00 with taxes and fees roundtrip from Orlando to Amsterdam , Amsterdam to Orlando.

Is there a site that will offer cheaper flights? Is that a good deal?

Mike

$1k from Florida to Amsterdam in the summer isn't too bad (nor too great) but I've done it from the west coast in July for no more than $700. The thing is airlines will run fare sales at seemingly random intervals, and sometimes you wind up getting better deals closer to the time of the trip, though as a rule of thumb, you shouldn't count on that.

Try checking airline websites for "exclusive" specials that aren't on Orbitz... look at carriers like KLM, BA SAS, etc. to see if any of them are having some sort of sale that includes summer fares. Oftentimes you'll dig up a great deal that's only around for a short while. Good luck!
