Hey
me and my buddy plan to walk and hitch hike across europe next year. Is it possible or are there some countries that dont have towns for 100's of miles. I think itd be the best way because you can see the most.

It's possible, but I highly doubt that there are many stretches of no civilization for a hundred miles or more. For one thing the geography is just waaaay more condensed than what we're used to in North America; for another, well- it's just plain older, so there's been a lot more settlement since way back when.

I'd definitely say it's possible. Why not give it a try? As SV said, way more condensed and older, so the hundred mile stretch with no houses will be few (if any) and far between.

^ Dude, you're talking about a continent, not just one city or even just one country. Most cities/towns will have at least a bus system of varying degrees of frequency and efficiency. Some cities will have rapid transit such as subway/tram systems (again, they vary).

Which places, specifically, are you wondering about?

If you aren't sure about the distances, you can always ask a local before you leave..like 'hey Yohan, how far is it between here and ______?"
Might want to get more than one opinion though...lots of people are clueless about that kind of stuff.
