Hi there. I have posted in sooo long, but now I have a really good reason! I bought a plane ticket last week for my one-month trip... I leave on New Year's day!! So far the only thing I have is a plane ticket to Amsterdam. I know the places I would like to go, I just need to figure out the best way to get to them. Maybe someone here with more experience can help me out...

First off, I need to get from Amsterdam to Montpellier, France to visit my little sister. Then, from Montpellier I need to get to Dover, England. From there, back to Montpellier to bring my sister back home, and then back to Amsterdam to spend some time there.

The trip is very flexible... no like predetermined dates for when I have to be in each place, I am going to try and just play it by ear.

Any advice would be appreciated!

Trains are going to be most efficient. As for getting to Dover you can take a train to Calais, France and take the ferry or bus. There is the eurostar train to england but it goes to London and isn't cheap. Also check into ryanair.com for flights that can be cheap (IE They have a "free" taxes only sale going right now). Hope this helps!
