Cool

Me and my mate are looking to travel round Europe -belgium, holland, czech, germany, france, italy, spain, maybe more- were looking to spend a few months doing it, and are doing it in a campervan...aaaaaand....i cant find anything on here about people travelling in campers! its all trains and stuff. is travelling in a camper round europe not a good idea? we reckon it will be good for saving money on accom, and sharing petrol prices by giving people lifts, and it will mean we can take snowboards with us.

But I cant really see any tips on what to do and what not to do, it all seems to be about public transport and flights. would it work out way too expensive to do it all in a van?

thanks people!

God, that sounds like a lot of fun!! The reason there isn't too much info about it on this site is that most of us don't have the opportunity to do something like that. Go for it! And WELCOME to the boards!

I met a lot of people who were traveling by campervan at the Glastonbury festival a few years ago, since it seems to be the thing to do for that trip, but I honestly haven't found many resources on it. I've thought it'd be really cool to do a huge overland trip around Europe in a van, but where does one start???
