Hi guys,
I am planning to visit The Netherland and my husband wants to do a little day trip to Wolfsburg, Germany while we're there. I checked Eurorail but fare came out to about 240 euro round trip for the both of us, that seems a little much just for a day trip. Does anyone else know of other options to go to Germany? Can we just rent a car and drive there maybe? Thanks!! |
On the german rail site, bahn.de, they have the trip listed as 66 euros plus or minus for one person round trip. That still seems a little high, but check the cost of renting a car vs. taking the train and see which turns out to be the better deal!! Going to see the VW Motherland???

^ That's from Amsterdam Centraal, btw. May be more or less depending on where you're departing from.
