Hey All,

I'm leaving for Amsterdam from LAX and I'm a little worried about the fact that I don't have my driver's licence because it was stolen with my wallet a little bit ago. The CA DMV system sucks and gives themselves a fluffy 60 day window to get new ID's sent out in the mail so I highly doubt I'll get my new one before I leave. The temp license I have is worthless because it lacks a picture and can't even be used a valid ID. What I do have is my genuine USA passport, which should be more than enough. I'm praying that this will suffice. Can someone alleviate my anxiety about this? Thanks.

The passport should be fine - I doubt they'll even ask to see your license. I've used a passport as ID on international and domestic flights and I've never been asked for a driver's license.

yea you only need ONE form of primary ID such as a drivers license or a passport or birth certificate... so your golden.. no worries mate have an awesome trip and make sure you tell us about it!!

I'm assuming u have an e-ticicket?
u cold always ring the airline and check, explain your situation. that way if there could be a problem, thay can make a note in your file, and everything should be sweet.
Also do u have any other photo ID, student card, Divers licence etc.
