OMG Full review
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Kuwait Airways operate cheap flights between London Heathrow and New York JFK on Boeing 777. I chose their service for the relatively good price, and didn't expect much. However, I was pleasantly surprised. There was a television screen set into the back of every chair, which showed a choice of viewing from new films to news programming throughout the flight, as well as offering information about the plane's location and the duration of the flight. It also gave a constantly updated indication of the direction of Mecca, for the Islamic passengers. There are also a selection of about ten music channels to listen to.

Food on the flight was of an exceptionally high standard, for airline food. Staff were polite and helpful, and the journey was comfortable and relaxing in both directions. The fact that alcohol isn't served on the flight may disappoint some though.

cant imagine my mate liking kuwait

Now that's a dealbreaker right there! I demand booze to make longhaul flights more tolerable...

I don't know if it's true, but considering I've been drinking on planes since I was 17, I guess it is: Since US carriers' planes are operating on FAA laws (and often in international airspace), drinking ages aren't enforced. Of course, this could all be urban legend - but here's one link I found about it:

I find the generally middel eastern airlines, especially ones run by the rich oil companys are quite exceptional, I wouldent see a problem with Kuwait air.
