I'm heading to Europe next week and I'm going with a friend of mine. However, we're taking different flights, and therefore I'm not sure where a good meeting place is at CDG in Paris.
I'm taking a charter flight which arrives in terminal T9 I think, while my friend is arriving in terminal 2. Where would be a good place to meet? Is it possible to meet prior to going through immigration?
If you are going to different terminals than I am 95% sure you will have to clear customs then meet up. Each terminal will have their own customs and immagration personal.
As for a meet up...
Terminal 2 seems to be the busier of the terminals when it comes to places to meet, the 5 halls that make up the terminal might become very confusing, so I would have to say take the inter-terminal shuttle and meet at the McDonalds in Terminal 1
If you're planning on taking the RER train into town, you can just meet up in front of the train ticket booth at the one station at the airport.. I believe that's at Terminal 2, as well.
