anyone know what the cheapest way from heathrow to portmouth would be?
all I've found has been airbus then train but it seems a little expensive.

National Express has a bunch of departures from Heathrow to Portsmouth (with two stops in Portsmouth.) Depending on the day/time you want to travel you may be able to get the special internet fare of 1 GBP; otherwise it looks like a standard direct coach will cost you around 12 GBP.
