For anyone traveling via train to Monaco from Italy: You should know that "Monaco" is MUNICH in Italian!! I do not know why on earth this is. When I was in Munich a couple of American girls arrived at the Eur-Aide office in hysterics. They got on a train in Rome, going to what they believed to be Monaco, and ended up in Munich.
(I'm sorry, but at what point did they finally come to the realization that they were hundreds of miles away from their chosen destination? When they went through the freaking ALPS or when they were on the train for 12 hours instead of 3 or 4?! haha)
So I guess if you're planning to take the train from Italy to Monaco, make sure you tell them you want to go to MONTE CARLO!! hahaha
