Default Japan to Thailand (on the cheap?)

Hi,

Im heading over to japan soon(ish) and would really like to go to bangkok from tokyo... I checked a good few airlines and found the average to be about €500 return..

But then I stumbled upon a thread and from it I found No1-Travel (google it.. I cant post links because Im a newbie ), on the homepage they quote deals from bangkok to tokyo for €170! but is this return or is it not? The website is really confusing.. I cant even figure out how to book, and was wondering has anybody travelled with them before?

And somebody else mentioned that it is cheaper to book with agents while in japan as opposed to online, anyone know anything about this?

Basically I am looking for the cheapest way to get from tokyo to bangkok and back again! (only planning on going to bangkok for about a week..)
All help much appreciated!

Thanks!

-Louise.

Default

i flew tokyo-bangkok return a few years back, and remember just booking with a local travel agent in Tokyo.

but No.1 TRAVEL.com - TOKYO / H.I.S. travel agency | International Airline Tickets are VERY well known in japan- they advertise in the local "gaijin pot" weekly (google that actually, it might have more travel agents and deals to choose from?)

try contacting no-1 travel and asking them about their prices- i have a feeling ti was them i went thru a few years back- and they all speak english

another option is to look at air asia and see if they have added japan to their route list yet, they are a super low budget airline.

good luck!!
