Default Cheap Fares To Europe This Fall

Hey everyone,

Delta has loaded some ridiculously cheap fares for travel to Europe late this summer and this fall, especially to Spain. Depending on dates and whatnot, you can find roundtrip flights as low as:
Phoenix - Valencia, $201
Charlotte - Madrid, $208
Las Vegas - Madrid/Barcelona, $209
Tampa - Madrid, $212
Boston - Madrid, $231
Pittsburgh - Barcelona, $234
New York - Madrid, $238
New York - Zurich, $238
Seattle - Madrid, $284
San Francisco - Madrid, $294
Los Angeles - Madrid, $299

Now, here's the thing. If you are thinking of planning a trip and want to buy one of these fares, do not delay. If you're reading this now and think...well, I'll decide tomorrow...and you come back and the fare is gone, don't blame me! This fare sale is burning up around the internet, it's posted on all sorts of deal boards including SD and the airline grail, FlyerTalk. These fares are NOT going to last. Just letting everyone know! Good luck and happy hunting.

The airlines giveth, and they taketh away. Seems like these had been filed without the fuel surcharge. Likely an intentional mistake, but they seem to now be pulled.

Awesome! Finally one of my posts has benefited someone. Now the fares are up to about $435, so you saved around $200.

As they say, book first and ask questions later. Almost all airlines offer a 24-hour refund policy (cancel for full refund by 11:59PM the next day), so there's no harm in making a booking before you're absolutely sure of your plans!

I'll pimp the Irish airlines here too, aerligus are doing €270 all in (one way) if you book now and fly in July.
