Im thinking about spending a total of 823 USD on my flights. That gets me from an airport within 3 miles of my house to Barcelona. I will then have 8 - 9 weeks to make my way all the way to Athens, Greece from where I will fly to NYC to vist a friend for a few days and then back home.

CAK to NYC (RT) = 162 through orbitz

NYC to BCN AND ATH to NYC = 661 through studentuniverse.

I know i could reduce the 661 to 368 by just going NYC to LON (RT) but then I would end up paying to cross the channel twice and have to make the long trip to and from Athens twice instead of once.

What do you think about all this?

That sounds damn good. The lowest I seem to be able to find is about 800 dollars for a roundtrip ticket to London. I am flying from the west coast so I know it will be more expensive than New York.
