Just wanting to know, those who have used budget airlines in europe were you able to have check in luggage also, or is it all just carry on?

Just curious before i plan to use some cheap airfares to compliment/speed up my travels.

Thanks

when I flew easyjet, they actually took my carry-on size backpack and checked it. They only wanted purse-sized bags in the cabin. I don't know if that is true of Ryanair as well. It sucked because waiting for the stupid bag carousel to start up at Paris CDG in dinky terminal 3 can take FOREVER!
