I was wondering what you all think about $472 student airfare to London from NYC?? Good deal for Mid May?? Let me know what you think or have found!!

it's a good price! around £300 to nyc is what you would pay on a good day over here

I found a rate, mid may from Aer Lingus 179.00 from NYC to London. Then you connect with Aer Lingus to London, currently 1 euro. Not kidding go to the site and check it out.

lol oh yeah forgot airlingus is the new LLC of europe!

It wrks out cheaper to fly to dublin as they have really low taxes... wish I had thought of that!

I think you can find better.

I paid about that to fly from Houston, which is a much longer flight. Flights from NYC are usually significantly cheaper, so I'd keep looking! Most of the time when you see really low fares to Europe advertised (from the US), they're based on a NYC departure.

Oops!!!

I meant to say it was about $480 USD roundtrip including the taxes. (StudentUniverse fares). Is there still any better than this??? Any ideas about flying outta Chicago??

Not for Mid-May...you've probably got about the best you're gonna get. The lowest airfares to London are usually October-March...once you get into April and beyond, you start getting higher in anticipation of summer travel. Even if you were to find cheaper, it won't be much cheaper...so I'd recommend booking now to lock in the low price...rather than waiting for a deal and only having the prices go up on ya.
