So I am just kinda going over where I want to go when I finally get to leave next Summer/Autumn... and my ever widening circle now includes northern Africa... Ok, so great! Except my dad made me promise to avoid Lybia, Niger, Chad and Sudan... Sooooooooooooooo BAAAAAAAASICally that means I need to find some way to get from Tunisia to Egypt for cheap... Any ideas? everything I found is 400$+ yikes.:P

You could hit them at different times, i.e. Tunisia from Spain and back, then Egypt from Greece or something like that... but that will probably still cost an arm and a leg.

Also, there are no direct ferry from Tunisia to Egypt, but probably one to Lybia then to Egypt. Don't know how much it would cost, and it might be a pain... Would you dad accept that you stop over in Lybia ?

Check this international sea routes in Southern Europe. I wasn't able to find anything about Egypt.

Maybe this is too indirect for you, but if you're traveling for that long why not hit these different countries nonconsecutively? Like, go from Italy to Tunisia and then back to Europe for Greece and Turkey and *then* hit Egypt?
