Poor Maybe. She was thoroughly molested tonight. Clipped her nails, gave her a buzz cut and then, indignity of indignities, I subjected her to a BATH with SOAP. B) She's getting old and may not be around much longer, please pardon my sentimentality. |
awwwww...too cute!

actually SV, you're dog's seems fairly tame about that. My dog HATES water with a passion. She's is definitely not the type of dog who will go for a swim just for the heck of it. When we wash her we have to put her on the leash and hold on for deal life b/c she shakes and whines and will constantly be trying to evade us, Although she will listen for a SMALL amount of time. Then, when she's done we let her loose and she runs and runs and shakes the water off until she's dry.

Maybe loves water, just as long as there is no soap (or bathtub / sink, for that matter) involved. She loves swimming, especially if I'm throwing something for her. Her preferred "fetch" -- I use the term "fetch" loosely since she is, after all, a Jack Russell Terrorist-- items are rocks. She will even dive under water for them, haha. Her other favorite water game is when I'm using a hose for something-- she loves to jump up, bite the water and bark at it. :) And my favorite thing is to blast her in mid-jump with the hose, lol. It's a game we play.
Actually I should be using the past tense for most of these things, since she's having a more difficult time walking these days. |

If we're being all sentimental... I have to add that last saturday I had to put my baby Cleo (short haired tabby cat) to sleep.... she had epilepsy (sp?) and had a fit and got brain damage which left her out of touch with the world... she was scratching at stuff and running in circles... tore out all her claws and teeth... so we rushed her to the vet and had let her go...
I was about to take a group to ottawa and had to put off my grieving for a week... so I'm trying to deal with her being gone. Our other cat dookie is taking it pretty hard also... we loved her so much.. |
thats rough molson girl, sorry.
my family had a cat, it was 21 years old when he died a few years back. pets are wicked, until they die, then owning pets kinda sucks  |
