OK Kids,
After much thought I decided to get this tat down on my ankle. Now to decide which of the three.
A little about the Chi-ro. It is derived from the early christian church. the greek letters of P and X are the greek spelling for Christ and the Chi-ro was the sign for Christian.
The A and W or horseshoe is of course the greek letters for Alpha and Omega signifying that Jesus is the beginning and the end.
Now the circle signifies eternity as well sooo Should I get it inside the circle? if Alpha Omega is already there should I get the circle? or does it look better?
And then to decide if I want the messy one or the cleaner cut one
So once again I turn to Tpunk for the big decisions in life.

Oh and some of you might notice the similarities between leonardo's drawing of man and the chi-ro
It's widely believed that the chi-ro was where he derived that drawing. And it is also believed that the roman cross the disciple Peter was hung from was the from the chi-ro as well (he was hung upside down)

I like the first mate im not sure about the circle, not on an ankle but hey it's up to you mate. Personaly i don't know if you drew them your self, but if not i would draw it your self, makes it a bit different. I know its a personal thing but when i had mine i knew i did not want one that is exactly the same as anyone elses, so drew it.

^ its a fish. The Chi-ro that I have is a bit different from the typical one...the "p" is large with a long stem, and the "x" is really small only at the very bottom of the p. I'll show it to you if you come out to LA.

Well, I got the tattoo because the symbol has a lot of meaning to me....I have always been facinated by fish and aquatic creatures in general. I think it has to do with my love of water. Bodies of water seem very symbolic to me. Since before I can remember I have always loved water. My mom says that before I could walk I crawled into a pool and started swimming.
