That's La Sonnambula (The Sleepwalker), by Bellini.
Take it from T-Punk's resident Opera Singer, that's some purty music, right there.

hey iamlindoro! you're right, it's been a looooong while since I've sang that aria, and i'm getting my languages mixed up! very pretty indeed... what do you sing - tenor or baratone (sp?) do you sing in a specific language? do you sing professionally? perform? or for personal enrichment?

Hey Carisia,
Yeah, I'm a tenor-- I'm actually using my European trip to sing a bunch of auditions for opera houses over there-- I have Undergraduate and Masters Degrees in voice, and sing and speak French, Italian, and German. The fortunate tax consequence of auditions is I can write off the trip next tax year. Yeeeeehaaaaaa!
There's a recording of me in the T-Punk works of art thread, but it's a little oldish.
I saw in your bio that you're a singer too-- do elaborate!

Hi there! Wow! I am so impressed! that's awesome. I sing b/c I love to sing, been singing since I was little, pretending I was a performing artist, church, choir, a capella groups, etc. Studied voice more seriously in college. Had not really trained past few years due to professional life time constraints, etc. Have taken up voice training again past year. Oh, have I failed to mention I'm a soprano? My favorite composer is Puccini, and my favorite opera is Turandot. Of course, favorite soprano has and will always be Callas! How about you?

Hey guys, thanks for the replies. Quite a few good looking chicks here from what I've seen - my type of place.
The name means "the act of walking in sleep" or something like that. It was a vocab word that I remember from high school english that I thought sounded kinda cool.

LOL! My first T-punk flirt! And to think that I was so jealous of the other T-Punk guys all these months.
Multiple languages just means I can get in trouble in more places, hah!
You're not so bad yourself (to put it mildly), you look just like one of my best friends from school.

haha! it's interesting, i was just downtown the other day, inside this mall/office building, and they were having a singing contest, the winner was going to open up and close the yearly philly flower show and possibly move on with a flourish performing pop music career... i was so tempted to jump on the stage and participate... but i wasn't pre-registered!
