Well thank you, we were actually at the Notre Dame on a Sunday morning and went inside for about 10 min. of a service. I haven't been to a service in 17 years, but it was very cool to witness one there. Didn't care for Paris as much as other places I've been. but for the 4 days we were there, we had a really good time.

Hey BigE, since you are near Boston you will appreciate this. So U.S. AIR SUCKS and got us to Logan 45 min. late, we were supposed to connect there to A-Dam 7:45p.m. well of course we arrived to late to make the transfer, and had to wait till 7:45 p.m. the next day. We did have a blast touring Boston for a day, but who would take a day in Boston over a day in A-Dam. Lost a day, but still had fun. The Buses connecting the terminals is part of the problem at Logan as well. I'm sure you know all about that.
Glad you liked the pics

Frankly, I am not surprised about the delayed flight. Beantown isn't so bad; there is lots of history, universities, pretentious snots, and bars. Not a bad place. I'm glad you had fun. Did you take the Duck Tour?

In regards to the busses connecting terminals, I know how difficult it can be. Got to love Logan.

Being the backpackers that we are, we saw the duck tour, but opted to walk about 10 miles around Boston instead. We left the room at 6:00 and jumped the T to Revere and Wonderland. Kinda fun since it was so early, there was no one around. Jumped T back to Govt. Center and walked around about 6 hours, finishing on the waterfront for a nice 2 hour nap in the sun before heading back to the airport for Sammys! Looks like I am flying out of Logan again this June, seems the cheapest place to fly to A-Dam from. I learned to allow myself a lot of transfer time on this go around. Not taking that chance again!!!

I used to walk around Boston all the time. I used to make my friends mad because I would tell them I know where a cool bar is and make them follow me for 5 miles. They learned real quick. I did have one friend who didn't mind. We used to hang out at the bars for a few hours then look for parties to crash along Commonwealth Ave. I was always surprised when people let us in.

I definately got the impression Boston was a VERY cool city. No wonder you were able to crash the parties, and I def. had a blast wondering the city and seeing what all it had to offer. Here's a weird one, we had lunch at eh Beantown Pub which was across from Sam Adams grave. We had Sam Adams Brews and a great sandwich named after Sam Adams, and oddly enough, Sam Adams grave was in sight from our table. Kinda cheesy, but what are the odds!

I know where you were. That Son of Liberty certainly left an impression on the Olde Town.
