OK, so my credit is bad (damn college, my credit was wasted on beer and pizza) anyway I said no big deal and took out a few of those prepaid credit cards that work like debit cards. One Visa, 1 master card, both with the Cirrus logo so they'll work on international ATM's. Anyway recently i found out that a judgement was put out on me due to a recent car issue in which i got and continue to get royaly screwed. I am concerned that after freezing my bank account they might be able to track funds to my cards due to the fact they have my Social Security number. As I wait for a positive answer from the CC company (I think one card might be protected) I sit here in near panic wondering what to do. My rail passes and plane tickets are paid for, so i AM going to Europe, this trip will not be stopped.
What should I do, should the one particular card be protected should I put all $3,500 on that alone, Should I do half on the card and the rest in Euro's or travalers checks? I can see regardless of what happens all my eggs are going to be tossed in one or two baskets which against all backpackers advice. But what options do i have? I am seriously stressed here...I don't like the idea of going to an ATM in Franfurt and seeing my money is drained. I also don't like the idea of carrying 3,000 Euros on me through Prague...this simply sucks ass.
