Hi all-

Just a thread to bitch. I knew that the dollar was weak against the Euro right now, but this is getting ridiculous. I mean, it's a 1.23->1, USD->EUR conversion right now. Yuck! Europe is expensive enough without taking a one quarter cut on my hard earned dough the moment I step off the boat! And that's not to mention any costs involved with converting my money. Yuck.

I guess this means spending extra time on my great-uncle's vinyard in the south of France, eh?

Wait, maybe that's not so bad after all.

At least your converting US and not Canadian Dollars.

1 Canadian dollar equals only 60 cents Euro...crazyness.

Maybe we could trade vital organs or something.

Anyone know the exchange rate EUR->Kidneys?

Dude just sell half your liver, it can grow back! The you can sell it again! woohoo! I would think a good liver could probably catch a fair price in Europe with all those drunk-a-holics. :D

Yeah at least you don't have to travel on the canadian dollar. The next time i go to europe i'm going to work in britain first (working holiday visa) so then i can travel around on the Pound.

Now things are even worse. I am in Europe right now(London waiting for Eurostar train to Paris) Everything is costing me double, I hope the mighty dollar recovers otherwise Americans backpacking through Europe would be as rare clean Hostel.
